CHENGXI SHIPYARD (CHINA), founded in 1973 and is located in Jiangyin City at the lower  reach of the Yangtze River. It is one of the largest ship repairing and new building enterprises under CSSC. It has a good advantage in road and waterway transportation as it is of short distance to port cities like Shanghai, Nantong and Zhangjiagang, P. R. of China.

It is engaged in three main parts, i.e. ship repair and conversion, new-building and steel construction. The yard has 4 floating docks, in 100,000 DWT, 80,000 DWT, 30,000 DWT and 15,000 DWT respectively.
